My paintings: Believing that in the creative process,
the act of painting is actually a reflection of the Art of Living in
the World, the images I create merge the world of form and spirit. You
will see something you are familiar with in an environment of unity, harmony,
shape, balance, opposites, color, texture. I seek to express the mystery
of our natural world and my relation to it. In other words, the distinction
hinges on the other-worldlines and this-worldliness. It is both personal
and impersonal; both real and within a dream-state. My latest series include
birds and other wildlife.
Beautiful country and the earth elements we live with provide a show of infinite expression. I am an observer first and then an artist.
Experience brings technique, yet the medium of watercolor
has a life of its own. Hopefully my paintings reflect the Joy of Watercolors!
